The Tanbar Air is an inflatable, instant-up, one-room canvas tent with Air Pole Technology. This rugged canvas tourer makes a great temporary home for overnight stays.

The Weekender is a large single room tent. High straight side walls provide maximum 'walk-around' room inside the tent. The large front Omega door provides easy access and maximum ventilation.

Large side windows, a window in the rear wall, together with Outdoor Connection's Ventraflow panels on both sides complete your comfort in this spacious cabin.

Internal window and door covers allow privacy and maximum climate control giving protection from drafts on cold winter nights.

The front door cover be turned into a 'Three Pole Awning' that can be left erected in case of rain. Optional Awning Side Walls give added protection to the awning area, creating a proper all-weather awning area. You can sit out and ENJOY the rain!

Air pole technology

Set-up Time with this Instant Up Air Pole tent, ‘from bag to ready to move in’ is about ten minutes. Do it easy! Pump time with the manual pump about 2.5 minutes. Set-up is even easier with the Outdoor Connection 12v HiFlo Pressure Pump with a pump time of about 8 minutes. Note that once the Outer Fly is set up with the tent it can remain attached for future use.

Great for an overnight stay!

Spacious & near-vertical sidewalls

Spacious 380(L) x 300(W) x 205(H) cm. Sidewalls are very straight and high giving plenty of ‘walk-around’ space inside the tent with lots of headroom. The large awning complements the feeling of cool comfort.

Extra peak and wall height provide a spacious relatively cool environment. The higher the roof the further you are away from the heat. Large doors and windows complete the feeling of having lots of room.

Three pole awning

The large three-pole awning with optional sidewalls means that the awning can be left erected when it is raining and you can still sit out and enjoy the outdoors. Large doors, windows and Ventraflow complete the detail aimed at making your family holiday as much fun and as comfortable as possible.

Optional Side Walls, with continuous Velcro strips for ultra-secure attachment, can be attached to complete your feeling of comfort and space. The side walls can be poled out to make a greater protected shade area or tied down for a windbreak in poor conditions.

Ventraflow

‘Ventraflow’ panels provide cool air and breathability low down where you sleep. The large window and Ventraflow panel means that you have ventilation from floor to the eaves of the tent. The privacy screen on the inside of the panel zips from the floor upwards so you can control the amount of air entering the tent.

Australian summer nights can be hot and humid so fresh air where you are sleeping is essential. There isn’t much point in having the limited fresh air drifting in through windows that are too high to be of direct benefit. Ventraflow panelshave internal privacy screens so you can adjust the airflow without having to go outside and adjust the external window covers.

Large Door

A large D-Door for ease of use and maximum ventilation and ultra-fine Durafine mesh screen and internal privacy screen. The outer Canvas door forms the awning.

The front D-Door has No 8 zips and windows have a finer No 5 zip for protection against water intrusion in wet windy conditions.

Large Windows

Large Side Windows for coolness and comfort. Privacy screens that zip upwards from inside the tent let you have good control of your sleeping environment. The tent can be closed up in cold weather.

Rear window for all-around ventilation. The gussets on the outside widow cover allow the window to be pegged out for ventilation even when it is raining.

Durafine No-see-um Mesh

This feature is on all windows and doors to keep the midges and mosquitoes out.

Canvas 230 GSM Fabric

Canvas 65/35 Polyester Canvas. 230 GSM with anti-abrasion formulation, mould and rot resistant waterproofing treatment.

The Tanbar Air features the use of Coates 100% cotton Dual Duty thread. This is a three heads spun thread with three separate cotton threads spun together. This gives maximum strength. Cotton swells when it gets wet and this fills up the small needle holes made in the manufacturing process.

Air Pole Technology

This Air Pole tent only takes around 2-3 minutes for it to fully inflate and takes less than 15 minutes to completely set up for the first time. The fly comes separately coming from the factory, so after the first time you place the fly over the tent, you won't have to do it again as you can leave the fly on even as you pack it down. We have 12v electric air pumps for those who can't be bothered to pump it up manually.

It's quicker and easier to erect than traditional ‘instant-up' tents. Just plug it, open your drink, sit back and relax while the tent inflates.
